Heydon was the TOOL, Edwards had the corner. Pity he Brain faded & missed the chicane with the finish line in sight.Ment wrote:2nd!

As for Nakkers Good to see him ride more aggressively. If he did it more often We'd have mush better results.
THE Ride of the Race was Rossi imho, 2 small fractures & rode for a top 10 finish. A Worthy Champion for sure.

Poor Edwards, really feel sorry for him

I guess he just wanted that first win a bit too much

And what of the Doctor? Who still thinks he can win it this year?

Top race.. I was praying so hard that they'd both come off when I saw Edwards catch Hayden after being 1 sec behond him... Woul hvae been awesome cause Hayden was in the kitty litter.. And to have seen Nakkers come in for first place would have been tops.. But 2nd.. Gotta be happy with that...

It's going to be tough for him, but not impossible. Surely you aren't silly enough to write him off just yet?NovaCoder wrote:And what of the Doctor? Who still thinks he can win it this year?

Yeah you have to remember there were about 4 riders that would usually bump Nakano off the podium who either were totally out of it or just uncompetitive (Melandri, Capirossi, Gibernau, Rossi etc).
But really he was good on the day and Hayden was lucky to stay on as well, Nakkers coulda almost had the win !
Edwards looked too relaxed and basically just let go of the bike - I've seen bigger eff-ups than that saved before, hell, the bike was still going after he gave up on it.
I reckon Rossi is still able to win the championship from here as well - he's wrapped it up with more than two races to go before so he can always play catch up.
