hey Pabs..great shotPabs wrote:I got this shot @ PI ,Brock's brother at the wheel.
It went really quite for a little while, then everybody started applauding as the car made its way around the circuit.
At turn 1
btw it was Brocks son..James driving it at the Island
with Wayne Gardner on board
(and Craig Lowndes drove it at Bathurst)
I thought I would recognise it..as I saw it at PI in...1973
have a look see here

Im lucky enough to be able to see some of these as a bloke from Rockhampton (of all places) owns a LOT of Brockies cars and keeps em in a shed near Yeppoon, apparently he is going to open to the public soon.
He has been trying for years to get a track going up here but the usual buearocracry keeps mucking him up.
Does anbody know if he bought it ?? (I wouldnt doubt it) his name is Champion, not unlike the bloke whose gear he collects actually
pardon the spelling I am a bit pissy

Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD
dont think soColette wrote:Wow, well I guess it's quite a collectible and will only continue to increase in value.
there is only so many people in aus that could afford to drop half a mil on a car
aussie touring cars arent exactly a worldwide following
if it was something of senna or elvis etc then it might increase easily but brockies old torrie , nah
