Glad I have a Qld sense of humour!!! Originally from NSW, Moree. My parents moved to Caloundra when I was a teen and my partner and I are currently doing a run out in Longreach. Do a fair bit of travelling but dont seem to be able to settle down in one area... Not all bad, you get to see a lot this way!Black Magic wrote:Hey there and welcome. I dont think ive really got a good one on the bike yet...but there could be an older one lurking around somewhere of me on my old scoot. How do I actually post a photo?

Indeed ya do SQ and at least you've taken the initial step, what 250 did you get? Incidentally we have members here on postie bikes so need to get embarrased about the scooterspeedqueen wrote:Gotta start somewhere though and I did ride it with passion!!![]()

Besides, if they're <50cc then in some states you don't even need a motorcycle license to ride it.

Yeah that's right for here in Qld...the only problem is the top speed is ridiculous (as in slow as!)and can get you into a bit of trouble if you're trying to get out of it! ( if you know what i mean)mick_dundee wrote:what 250 did you get? Im starting with a XV250 virago and then hoping to inherit my partner's 650R when he feels the time is right. He's keen to buy a bigger bike so that suits well.Besides, if they're <50cc then in some states you don't even need a motorcycle license to ride it.speedqueen wrote:Gotta start somewhere though and I did ride it with passion!!![]()
