ZX7's are a great bike and I would say the RR is at cult statis. Yes they do vary in price from $4500 on this forum ATM. They can be a cheap way to get a very capable sports bike. When I am rich enough to call my self piss broke I would not complain about having one. As for a tourer. I have a ZXR 93. To me it is only an old ZX7 and I tour with a magnetic tank bag and soft sports bags on the back. I have travelled from Penrith to the Island on several occasions and I always get annoyed at riders on ST1100's and Goldwings fidgiting about and trying to get comfortable. I have no troubles with sore wrists but then I probably exercise them more than others do.
SO YES THE ZX7 IS A GREAT BIKE...
And I am not calling any one a CU*T or putting shit on their rides.
Is the zx7r a bit of a cult bike in Aus?.

The 7 still has the reputation as having the best front-end in the business, its a shame they were taken off the market. The 12 is fairly soft with stock settings, but you sure can fix that !!FrogZ wrote:.... The 7 still has the better front than the 12 even though they are so similar that you can jump from one to the other that only the "wheelstands" suprise you... Both are VERY stiff bikes (if you know what I mean) with hard suspension.
