Walk for Juvenile Diabetes

Post by Mojo67 »

On Sunday morning when you lucky buggers are getting your livers ready for the MotoGP, I'll be walking with my kids for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Its a fundraiser to find a cure for juvenile diabetes. A shitty ailment people have to live with from childhood, and its real hard on kids.

I'm not out on the soapbox to raise a fortune, but its a good cause and worth a look. We all start with a $100 target, but obviously everything is welcome. Donations tax deductable.

Have a browse through the site, its worth a look to find out a bit about the disease. If you want to, throw in a few bob. Fear not, I'll be back home in time to watch the race. 8)
