Does the new beast have a steering damper Yak Fat Pat?
I've heard they are essential.

Dunno if there's anything in this...
But I have heard that a lot of modern bikes would benefit from a really good tune of the butterflies...
That's all I know

Re: Bar end weight q's
fund this on other board
"Found the vibrations.......its in the air intake, it was vibrating against the intake fairing, put some foam tape around the intake and put the fairing back on and what do you know, absolutely no more vibrations....I knew I would find it..... Love the bike got about 2300 miles on it now with a hyperpro damper and man that thing screams......!!!!"
will look into this on week end!

Re: Bar end weight q's
I changed the bar-ends from standard to a lighter plated-steel version on the MFP12, and its reduced the vibrations/harmonics that used to occur in the throttle on long trips - Previously the throttle hand would get a bit 'tingly' after a few km on the highway at a steady pace.......but not any more ??
