Yoshi Pipe Mod

ZX12R Yoshi Bolton Pipe mod.

Im trying to shorten my yoshi pipe. i have taken it off drilled out the rivets, and stripped it out.

i have only shortened slip on cans b4 and the inside of this can is tampered etc. does the end cap come off. it is currently pressed over the perf tube???

any info would b great

its a bit of a job - I shortened a Yoshi RS3 slip-on a while ago.....I remember lots of bashing with a hammer and a lump of wood to remove the guts from the outer skin..... :lol: and then having to reattach the whole inner section to the end cap when rivetting the insides together...

Hoffy recently did a similiar job on my old RS3 Yoshi bolt-on, he might have some more info on this mod. Its definitely worth doing, just for the *noise* factor..... :twisted:

i rode to work and back today 100km round trip. i commute on mine ;)

ITS ALL DONE !!!

Ill tell you what !! i have chopped akros and microns b4 but yoshi are a pain in the ars@. !!!

Ended up taking 100mm off. the 12 soundz a hell of alot deeper and throatier now!!. it took a few hrs but was definately worth the effort.

ill post some pics when i get a chance

good work on the mods - here is a pic of my Yoshi on the MFP12, I cut the bastard in half mate !!!! :twisted: its throatier than Linda Lovelace.... :P

Gee Gos, most of the whippersnappers here would have no idea who Lovelace was......but I sure do remember!!! :D
