Transmission '06 ZX6R

Post by zxsixr03 »

How much to replace or fix ( ballpark) a '06 tranny?, How can i tell if this is the problem or if its the clutch plates?
She slips out of gear sometimes, gets real boggy off the lights only sometimes like your taking off in 3rd and is harder to find neutral, also actual gear changes feel a little clunky, this is whats pointing me towards the transmission?
Thanks

look up the problem in the kawiforums.com, it's a known issue for some 05/06 models, although never acknowledged officially by Kawasaki. From memory dealers in the US were charging USD1.5K, so who knows.
