All this talk of BMX tracks reminds me of when i was a kid and mum use to always tell us not to cross the main roads and ride too far. OK mum, we'd say, then head straight across the main road and ride about 20k's to the bmx track :D We'd be gone all day and only returned home cos it was dinner time and we were STARVING!! Good times, even with all the cuts and bruises!

On the "people suing for stupid shit" subject, i heard the other day that Sydney is second only to New York for this sort of rubbish. Any wonder everyone is so paranoid about people being injured on their grounds/property.

I agree that Australia needs to HTFU and common sense needs to come into play more often. If we keep taking away a persons need to use common sense, people will lose the whole concept of having common sense........then we're in trouble!

Sorry if i got a little of topic
This beer is making me AWESOME!

Funny, got this email last night, makes me sound like an old Grannie, but it made me think of this thread.....

Do you remember a time when...

Decisions were made by going "eeny-meeny-miney-moe"?
"Race issue" meant arguing about who ran the fastest?
It wasn't odd to have two or three "Best Friends"?

The worst thing you could catch from the opposite sex was "boy or girl bugs"?
Having a weapon in school meant being caught with a sling?

Spinning around, getting dizzy, and falling down was cause for giggles?

The worst embarrassment was being picked last for a team?

Playing cards in the spokes transformed any bike into a motorcycle?
Taking drugs meant orange-flavored chewable aspirin?
Water balloons were the ultimate weapon?

If you can remember most or all of these, then you have lived!!!!!!!

'Life is short- break the rules.
Forgive quickly,
Kiss slowly,
Love truely,
Laugh uncontrollably,
And NEVER regret anything that made you smile.'
