I think as long as the rim is a 5.5" or more, you should be sweet ??

Would it be Ok to run a set of the Dunflop control tyres, 190/55 on my road bike, would there be much difference to the 180/55?

Thanks Russ, but I don't ride in the rain :) ;)

Would it be enough to worry about or should I just HTFU in the wet and ride slower

I have only used them once in the wet at WP and they were really bad, aquaplaning everywhere but I like them in the dry and generally find them a good tyre when the they dont split. just be aware that they are designed to be used on a race track with warmers so they wont warm up quickly (well not that quickly anyways) and they are designed to be run at low pressure and warm in order to get grip so I am not sure how the will go with street pressures and and cooler temps. The front is not so bad as they suggest 32-35kpa (off the warmer) in them on the track but the rear they suggest 22-25kpa (off the warmer)
