how to get your headers off? can you not clean them on the bike?
if you want to get them off you may have to remove the radiator (after the fairings of course) to get access to the bolts at the front of the cylender head... there'll be a gasket in there too which might need to be replaced and or re-seated properly when you put them back on...
id just spray em with wd 40 and an old rag

There is a product called sta-bil that you need to add to your gas before storage. Stored gasline turns to varnish and you are lucky it still runs ok. Sta-bil is cheap and one bottle will treat about 60 gallons. When you put it in run the motor to have it get into your injectors or carbs. They claim it keeps your gas stabile for up to one year. I store my moto when the snow hits and I've never had a problem. I do however start it once a week. Starting it does not keep the gas from going bad it just cleans the moisture out and keeps the battery charged. Also have about 15 shots of Jim Beam.billydakid wrote:oh ok cool, so anything else good to check? cause when i didnt drive my bike for 2 months all i did was empty out the fuel and put new 98 votex in which is what i only use then put some of that cleaner stuff into it which supposedly cleans them n shit.
