I was in Italy for a week April last year, also fantastic weather, Italy is one of my favourite countries, the people are all pretty good and it's easy to get around without speaking Italian, there had been a Superbike round on in Italy the day we arrived but not sure where it was? at one point in our trip we got a little lost in our rental car and saw signs for Mugello track but wanted to get back on our proper route so didn't go for a look :?
I totally forgot we were there at the same time as the San Marino round !! :x :x :x but hadn't booked it into the schedule last year so missed out.

Yeh we loved Italy, it was a great place and as long as you can speak some basic Italian - especially out of the main centres - you can get by pretty easily. Better in the north than the south according to the locals - once you head south of Roma, it gets a bit suss......especially down around Naples......

Got my tickets for Sepang, $40.20 for two grandstand tickets on the final bends before the straight, the equivalent seats at PI would have cost $900 (covered stand on a curve) return airfares are $537 and a hotel for a week is about $200, at Phillip Island it would cost us about $200 to fly down, $200 to rent a car and about $300 for accommodation, at the end of the day it's not going to cost me much (if any) more than a weekend at the Island! Although we are going to chuck in a 3 day side trip to Seam Reap in Cambodia 8)

The Czech republic is pretty good, we went to the superbikes there in 2010, I think it was in July that year and the weather was awesome, a little too hot if anything (mid 30s) the Brno and the eastern part of Czech (Moravia) is beautiful and the architecture amazing, the race weekend is very laid back, beer is cheap and available from when the gates open along with spicy sausages for brekky. Apparently the MotoGP is a much bigger event there though, the circuit is great and absolutely huge with some good viewing points. We went up to Prague after about a week in Brno, Prague is nice but over priced around the city centre, especially during tourist season (summer) and crowded, but there is a lot to see. We booked our grandstand tickets for the race through a sports touring company in melbourne, just so we had a local contact and they were posted to our hotel in Brno, and ready the day we arrived.

Other places on my list would be Russia, Istanbul (awesome city), Barcelona and something in the UK.

Cheers
Matt

Mugello, Monza, Brno, Catalunya. They are the circuits I'd love to see, obviously Mugell is GP and so is Catalunya. Monza is WorldSBK and Brno is both.

But I'd be going to the NW200 and TT before any of them ;)
