She's looking a treat Dave, you really know your way around a rebuild.

I guess it needs to be off a KH rather than a late H1 model, as there is plenty of these around on ebay.
Can you post a pic of your harness or at least what's left of it?

Kev...the KH A8 like ours,is the only stand alone harness in the 500 series.
Have a guy on the triple forum OS that is pretty sure he has a good one.
Here's the pics of my old one...its an abortion, just need a good harness to start from scratch.

Yeah I see what you mean. I gave Steven Lemburgen a call, he's the owner of Old Gold Motorcycles down here and loves his triples, and unfortunately he doesn't think he has one but he could try to find a matching amoungst the hundreds that he has in stock but couldn't promise anything.
Hopefully the guy from the other forum has one for you.
If not, I stumbled across this and thought it might be worth chasing up. From the way I read it, it appears he got the wrong harness and hopefully he still has it and hasn't modified it to fit a H1.

No worries. I logged on and sent him a message anyway, you never know your luck.
BTW, he posted that question only 3 months ago, joined in 2011.
I've found a few wreckers over in the US that list parts daily for triples on ebay, so I'll keep an eye out.

2k for a loom,f----------------------------k..........must be platinum wiring instead of copper.
You can always do one yourself !! I did my RD loom, but it it was a right pain in the arse, and i also had a complete but terribly tatty loom to work off.
No I will never do another. But i also have'nt started on the S1 yet !!
I put a post on the VJMC site.......you never know.

I'm not competent enough as it is with electrickery to make my own loom Stu.
Good on you for posting to the VJMC on my behalf.
I'll see what old mate has to offer on the Kawasaki Triple Owners Group forum...seems he knows exactly what I'm looking for.
