For those people that have no clue what this company is i'll give you a bit of a run down. The company I work for was first known as Borg-Warner. NOW if you don't know who that is then just stop reading and be happy I told you what I do for a living. (JK).

I was wondering what had happened to them. Once upon a time in the good old days of tariffs and locally manufactured parts-bin-engineered rear wheel drive cars, Borg Warner made the auto and manual transmissions for Ford, Nissan, Mistubishi, Chrysler, etc etc. Their first 5 speed manual was plonked in the Sigma, the 2.8 litre Commodore, the 3.3 litre Falcon, the Bluebird, etc.ZZR_Bandit wrote:....yes we are in the shit but we should be sold to a new company by the end of this week called Drivetrain Systems International. I'm not sure who Borg-Warner is still making gear for. The last I heard they got rid of all their overseas companies and pretty much disappeared. I think they are a british company. (I could be totally wrong on this, i'm not sure)John H wrote:I was wondering what had happened to them. Who other than Ford are they still making trannies for these days? Or have they moved into other areas again?
