Well I can now safely say these are an awesome tyre! Legally the tyre finished at close to 8,000km but because I am lazy and rode all weekend I manged to see it to 9,000km where the steel belt was just starting to show. I can not fault these tyres in terms of grip up until about 7,000km on the rear. They leave some awesome blackies out of corners too

at 9,000km the front probably still had another 500km or so left in it. Just put another pair on today, but I would be interested to see what people are getting out of racetech's!

I have been running a Racetech Front with an M3 rear for the last 30,000 or so klms. The M3 has impressed me as with you, in the grip and life stakes. But I chucked a K2 Racetech on last time, have currently done over 10K on it (easy k's though Paz, not too many ride the front rides, mostly loaded up touring at about 6/10ths). I reckon it is good for 12k normal, and maybe 9-10K fanging on the roads. My last Rennsport front did 8K before the belts were hanging out the sides. But this racetech K2 really impresses me. I am throwing another on the front this change (unless I use some secret weapon tyres for the Super Dupers thanks for asking ride!)

Thats a lot better milage then I got out of my Rennsports & Racetechs Paz, how much a set were they again ?.
i'll be fitting a new set in 2 weeks for Super Doopers Trip. At this point it'll be the Bridgie 002's $330 fitted but if the M3 aren't much more i may whack a set on instead.

If mad mick isn't too far away from you then I would see him as I am sure he would be cheaper, but I got the set for $475 fitted.

Noticing that you're from "The Shire" JP, I thought it may be pushing the friendship to say Islam!
