I need to know the fuel range of a full tank

all years of zx9r, zx6r, zx636r's, z750 & z1000, also wouldnt mind hearing about the ER6N (not that i think i'd go that route).

mate, as i imagine $$$s are an issue, get the latest model zx9 u can afford. you can commute using no more than a twitch of the wrist and keeping revs under 5 grand, u'll still pull along more than on the 7. and you can get 300kms on ur daily commute.

but better still, they're animals when u open it up in the twisties.

I do 500k a week and probably spend a little under $30 on fuel. If I were driving a car, I'd expect to be throwing $60-80 into the tank. If the tank range is low - fill upo more often

The areas a bike loses against a car is in tyres and service cost. Find a reliable bike that is easy on tyres (which are a comon size) and it's all good.
OK, serious answer...

Well maintained (although presently missing a bit of bodywork) 1999 CBR600FX - bog standard except for Staintune slip on can and almighty topbox

My normal run home to freeway (5 mins), freeway to Bell St at about 110 (30 mins). 10k along Bell St in traffic

The run is almost 50k each way, I fill up every three days. Fuel light almost always comes on at 280k and I fill up at 300k (same servo, often same pump). Usually about 15.5Ltr from the 300k, tank is 18ltr

In the spur the fuel light comes on at about 220k.
