LMAO Rob!!!
Boots are at the shoe repair place as I type this, am picking them up at 5 and will be riding home in them, so will give a report then (if I get home in one piece that is, lol).

Heels seem fine, didn't make a huge difference..am going to get the whole boot raised tomorrow and see how that goes.

I was wearing normal streetheeled boots with a thick heel. Just being my usual gumby self, really

Anne, I got heels done today but am going to get the soles done tomorrow, as I think that will make a bigger difference.

Update: got the sole and heel done and it has added a bit of height, without affecting being able to change gears, etc.
I have noticed that I can get a bit more of my foot down now (still not flat footing it, but anything is an improvement!)
It was worth doing all the same.

My Gearne boots have slight heels on them.... It doesnt interfere with gear changes.... or anything at all.....

a bit of heel?? ..mate ive seen stileto's with a smaller heel than that!!
