Try it ?????? I DO monos longer than 6 seconds and 100m, pretty pointless pulling it up for LESS than that

Seriously but, did you read this ?? (and yeah I seen the "proper" mono, sorry doesnt cover it)
So if I pop the front at 5k I will be out of control for 100m and 6 secs???
OR if I pull a 200k minger I will ONLY be out of control for 100m and 6 sec???

NO you CANT change direction (to a point)
NO you CANT stop quickly (to a point)
Thats the point of it, its DANGEROUS, thats why we ride bikes (stop kidding yourself) it is just taking the danger to another level.

As I said IN the context of the original post YES it is WRONG
BUT broad statements are just that and cover a small percentage of reality.
6sec and 100meters is just WAY too broad for such a subject is all.
AND 6 seconds is a VERY long time (have YOU tried it?)
I dont know anyone (without numbers) that would hold a modern thou flat for six seconds, it is a long long time at that acceleration...
By the way you cant accelerate as hard on the back as you would on two, you flip it, physics ...

Maths dont lie dude
@ 60kmh you cover 16.666m / second
@ 200 you cover 55.55
Get what I mean now ???

Its no different to "speeding", it should be "inappropriate speed" ie. wrong time and place. I dont see monos as any different, in the right time and place they are good fun. Do it outside a school and you DESERVE to be locked up.

Hey you call me Darl when ever you like
I even promise to try and impress you with monos through traffic !!!

Geez they way I go on about this anybody would think I have a guilt complex from monos (thanks for nothing Freud)
Funnily enough until now (until I brought it to attention that is, I will get busted this arv) I have never been pulled for a mono.
I did get busted for a "pop" in Sydney so I did get CHARGED for a mono, I just didnt DO it....
Might explain why I am doing a pay back now....

Sorry again Col, (playing it safe now notice) I am gonna blame my soapbox....

yea interesting one...ill say i ride like a toss to everyone else, but to me its comfortable..then theres ppl i ride with who i think are tosses, but its comfortable to them....its a personal thing..i hope the Learner realises he might be a bit cocky b4 he gets killed, but maybe hes better than we think?? (maybe its Krusty Fergusson- didnt he just get his L's)

as for this wheelie thing..i agree with Frogy..i can pop a high wheelie up, hold it for 15m then drop it & stop, without breaking 70kph....i can also pop a 2nd geary at 80kph & hold it for 2-300m or whatever ...

and now..im working on popping a 12 oclock from standstill and not breaking 50kph....and its coming along...

so lets be gentle on the generalisations that wheelies are ALL dangerous and out of control..only MINE are.....
EVERYONE STAND CLEAR!!!!
