Mate.......get with the times...........the pucka solution for the rear of a GPX (I asume u mean 750? faark I hope so!) is a Dunlop K701 in a neat little 140 section!!! It's the pucka GPX race tyre Hemi!
I used a set of 700/701's on mine with absolutely hilarious results!
They allow power slides of the magnitude of Marco's!!!!!!
Er, no, 600 I am afraid. A tired one at that.
Does the above still apply however? Do you think they are better than the Bridgie BT45s? I have some sort of Dunlops on there ATM, and whilst the rear is fun due to lack of grip (especially in the wet
) the front is horrible.....

If you fit a set of K700/701's it'd be pretty funny.
I havn't seen a set around since 1990!
So if you find some, they might be a little hard to start with, then get harder as they wear!
The rear tyre will have just a fraction less than no grip. But don't worry, they slide predictably. As in predictably everywhere. Don't worry about extreme lean angle grip either, as there is nothing to worry about. they let go way before they are over that far!
I did a track day at Winton with them fitted to my GPX 750R, and they mad me look like a riding god. A mate who was on his GPZ900, had a set on too. So we looked like a drift race doing tandem syncronised powerslides onto the straight. Believe me there was no feckin skill involved, just that the tyres spun up so early, it was easy to do. Both our rear shocks were rooted too, so the pogoing didn't really instill the other punters with much trust!
Just picture it Hemi, two pig rooting pogoing old shitters opposite locked exiting the right hander ont othe old straight! Funny as a heart attack!

Yeah that sounds like the tyres on the GPX alright. Gave em a good sliding today out near the border. Lotsa fun, but I would atleast like a front with some semblance of grip.
