I inadvertantly went from a 15 to a 16 front when I changed my sprockets a few months ago. Didn't know the previous owner had made the change and just bought the standard sprockets. The pro's were that it cruised at speed much better, a lot smoother with the 16. The con's were that it doesn't take off from the lights quite as well and the front doesn't come up as easy.
Not sure what I'll do next time...plus I might have one of those '05 silver ZX10R's by then (in my dreams

)

3 on the back is same as 1 down on front..i went up 2 on back, and made a huge diff..wheelies uncointrollably...2nd gear poweries no prob..3rd gear almost ...mind u a bit of clutch (ill post other gen disc topic too) an up she goes..i loves me wheelies..
