Oh, you must mean the under-seat exhaust..... Oh! forgot... Ducati did that first too....
Must mean the swingarm..... Oh darn...... ducati again.....
In fact, the single sided swingarm on VFR's...... Ducati first again......
Honda does not Instigate, it emulates.....
Hang on... Ducati riders are latte sipping, designer clothes wearing poofters...BladeBoy wrote:Yes I know they are all much of a muchness, Ducati...Honda...Ducati... Honda...

Honda had twin headlights on the CBX750 in 1984. That's 10 years before the 916 came out.Stereo wrote:You mean the twin headlights? Oh thats right.... Ducati did that first...BladeBoy wrote:It's a Honda knock off..
Even if you discount two-strokes like the reverse-cylinder Yamaha TZR250 (1990), Yamaha RZ500, Suzuki RG500 and Honda NS400R (all 1985), the Honda NR750 had an underseat exhaust in 1991, three years before the 916.Oh, you must mean the under-seat exhaust..... Honda RC30 had a single-sided swingarm in 1988, six years before the 916.Must mean the swingarm..... Oh darn...... ducati again.....
Massimo Tamburini is on the record as having used the Honda NR750 as the starting point when designing the 916.Honda does not Instigate, it emulates.....
Not quite. The KX450R is in the same mould as the non-ADR KLX650; the headlight's only there so you can see where you're going on night enduro stages. It's not actually registrable.Glen wrote:No 2 is on its way. It'll be a Kwaka equivalent to the WR450.
Not to forget the KTM, the Husaberg, the Husqvarna... if the trailbike market is big enough to accomodate tiny players like Gas Gas and VOR, there's room for Kawasaki.Gonna be a tough market though, the Yamaha and the Honda are both really good bikes.
No, Kawasaki's problem is that they're too slow to react to shifting markets, and this keeps costing them market share. How many people brought up on KX80's and KX125's have switched their allegiance to Yamaha because it took Kawasaki seven years to respond to the YZ400F?Kwaka's problem I guess is there size.

Honda riders just don't do the designer clothes.
