Jealousy is a curse Nathan....just cause Bubba wont polish your teeny weeny anymore, there's no need to get narky

I have used Dubbin daily before on Army boots. 2 years in one set of boots, never rotted, nor did the laces, though it did discolour them slightly so I am not game to try it on my new jacket.
Stitching could very well be different between them though.
I will give the renapur stuff a go.
As for the strip club comment. I already have the assless chaps, no reason to cut the ass out of a perfectly good pair of leathers.

My flatmate gave me some Emu Oil Wax to put on mine. Haven't really noticed much difference, other than it smells quite strong.

Saddle soap is the tops for leather - also grew up around horses. That's what I use on my leathers. I got a beeswax Leather Seal at the bike show, which seemed to be OK on my long wearing boots. Haven't used that on my leathers yet tho - just the boots.
