someone bought up a good point, can you let us know what happens when you ride in the wet for the first time?
mine also needs a refresh and this sounds great...

I ave ridden in the wet and it was OK, mind you it was only a 15 minute downpour.
The bag it self is a little stiffer than usual due to the paint and has a rougher texture than usual, but seems to be holing up pretty good. It holds its shape good now its all stiffened up.
Personally I dont think I would bother doing it again as I seen good quality bags for heaps cheap at bike shops. I would probably just buy a new one next time, but another brand other than Ventura, like an Rjays or Hustler.

Mines still holding up good, I think there is definitely a danger in putting on too much paint..

Doesn't really bother me anymore. Some arsehole stole the thing off the back of the bike. It was chained on, they cut the webbing to get it off.
