* having done all that allow 3 for days for drying time then cut it back
with 1000 or 1200 wet and dry, make sure you use water and when you
rub it back dont rub in the same area for to long but also you have to get
rid of the orange peel look on the job after it has dried, keep wiping water
of to see if orange peel look has gone then buff with buffer ofcourse and
use good quality compound, careful ther is a lot shit out ther
A. Incorrect thinning medium used
B. Wrong pressure to your gun

HVLP or non-HVLP?
Can you recommend a gun and compressor size that'd do a reasonable job for the budding bush'canic?
I actually need to get myself set up for furniture as well...
I have the tools but I just don't the friking time to prepare the surface! The car just shat itself (and almost got me killed) so if I strip the bike apart I'll have no transport

being a qualified painter i can tell you there is no difference in the techniques used & the results achieved between this & auto spraypainting.
a hvlp set up would be the easiest set up to master for what you want,or a compressor & a GOOD QUALITY gun would be just as good but harder to master.anyway good luck & dont be afraid to ask if you need advice.

Sip brand compresor is not bad thats what I got and had it for years still goin good, a 15 cfm is good for sprayin cars, anythin lower is ok but compresor will struggle and need to give it a rest
Guns = there is Astra, Defynik, star, arnold, and Iwatta thats only some I
can think of but I think most Painters would agree with me this time,
Iwatta is one of the best
hope that helps
As far as furniture sorry cant help there
