Hidepenny - where was that place - I am looking for a towbar in SE Melbourne.
Anyone else know of a place in Moorabbin area that can ft a towbar for a reasonable price?

only 2 I know of...
Moorabbin Trailer in Chesterville Rd..opp Kookaburra Sports
and
FastFit towbars and exhaust...just north of Wickham rd/Chesterville Rd
intersection in Chesterville Rd...190 Chesterville I think
try FastFit...I have had exhaust wortk done there...price was OK and quality good
boss there is a gruff lil guy with a limp called Pete...but he does know his stuff and his work is good

another place is Cepac Towbars in Myrtle Street Glen Waverley
dont know if they are any good or how much though

Thanks smitty I'll try them tomorrow - there are 2 in chesterville road by the look of it so should be some price competition!

I ended up using "towbar city" in south melbourne.... quick easy and not expensive at all. From memory it cost $260.... Mina, it was the wiring that was the tricky part, not the towbar itself...

Just to revive this thread, Stereo did the installation inlcude wiring and all as i'm looking to get one added to my laser.

I just got one on the Kluger. $760 installed. Only Toyota make them, so had to pay a bit of a premium.

Look up 'budget towbars', they came to our house and fitted it and were the cheapest also.
