I tried on just about everything in the shop. They were either too narrow or too tight in the toes - if I could get my foot into them at all. Then he dug out a pair of Gaernes... they are a little bit roomy at the toe, but are very comfortable to walk in. Sometimes the bike has been put away for an hour or two when I realise I still have my boots on.
When we took the head mechanic in to get his kit he did exactly the same - tried everything  I watched his face as he slipped the size 11 into a Gaerne... as soon as he cracked the smile I knew we were getting another pair.
We got a great deal on them too. Shame they don't treat us like that at the Kawasaki dealership.
