Yes true, i remenber when i was very young that older people would give them away cause they were old, had a few mechanical problems or cause they were too old to drive and their sons only wanted to drive new flashy models. So back then (not so many years ago) people would give them away so they could have some more free space on their garage. Today isnt like that cause people realised they can keep them or sell them for a lot of $$$. I was told that when my grandpa died he had a couple of peugeots ( 304,404 black ) and after a few years they were sold very cheap cause everyone wanted new cars. I still new a couple of old people that have some cool bikes in their garages (Nortons, BSAs, Triumphs and even seen a kawasaki 125 k something) heres the video of that garage find.
