Took my mates new 2006 Harley for a spin last weekend. It's got 4k of performance mods. Was suprised to see it's finally injected. Heap of chrome and pipes with no baffles. He's telling me how it nearly ripped his arms off. I told him my gf's supra would kill it. Anyway took it for a ride going flat out in 1st then second and it felt about as fast as my gf's 250!! It was comfy but obviously a poser's bike. Saw a corner so I slowed down to half my normal speed and still dragged the boards (I think that's what you call them) on the ground.
For 30grand I can think of a million other things I'd rather buy.

It would take a lot of convincing and a massive discount to get me to buy one
The thing that scares me most is running out of clearance on corners. The 12 is enough to keep me happy :D
The funniest thing was, my mate told my gf to hold on tight when he took her for a quick spin. When they returned, she had a bored look on her face and hands in her pockets

It had a fair bit of toque but nothing to get excited about. Would like to see how a standard one goes as this had 4grand of performance mods. Pipes, chip, and some other stuff. It's a harley fatboy.
After he drove the supra he wasn't interested in racing his bike against it and the thought of the 12 scares him

It's a great conversation killer.
Cheers
Well said "dirty", I'm with you on that one, the answer is NO.
The noise, the sound, the chrome & pose factor..its all too much unless you are on the set of the 70's TV show - CHIPS - and then of couse you have to factor in those tights as well....

ps shadowz & neka well done man for giving up the smoke....cigs that is ??
