Years ago I was on my GPz750 and riding along minding my own business during Lunch break when a Ute in front of me lost a Plank of wood, it was lying in the tray and up onto the roll bar behind the cab and the wind caught it and it flicked end over end straight for me, the road was slightly damp and I had the bike all locked up sliding all ways when the wood landed right in front of me about a foot away and it broke in half on impact with the road and each half went either side of my bike missing me completely!
the Ute of course kept driving and I saw a cop around the next corner, I was sorely tempted to stop and report the guy amd the only reason I didn't was 'cos I was being followed by a couple of other guys from work and I wondered what they'd have thought of me if I did! when I got to work 5 minutes later they pulled in and congratulated me on "The Show" and said "You should have reported him to that cop!"
