You're right of course Hoffy, it is important to have a well sorted bike as well. I suppose I figured it goes without saying that the bike needs to be in good order, with decent tyres, effective suspension, etc, and assumed (I know, the mother of all fuckups) that the OP had a decent bike in decent nick.hoffy wrote:I dont agree with the 99% in your head scenario, I think it's still a good idea to have your bike sorted with good tyres, good suspension, tuned up properly and working correctly.
