Thats the clamp for the umbilical cord, if you undo that it lets all the air out and you need a compressor to re-inflate them

So is that different to tying it up specially now that the babys home cause thats the first time ive seen that

As far as I know they haven't tied them off for quite a while, A clamp was used on all 3 off our girls and the eldest is 11.
