Well Im kinda over the high insurance premium's we all seem to cop because of the small minority of dickheads mentioned before... Not to mention the thieving scum that follow you home to find where your car/bike is parked! Im sure the extra 15 seconds everyone saves speeding home is worth it
Losing our freedom... whoa... The conspiracy theorists are in! Its already so unpopular the authorities would have a hard time introducing it anyway! What elected official would want to risk their career on this? Duh...
As mentioned I think its a good idea for theft / ID purposes when it comes to the thing's dickheads have ruined for the rest of us. But in the meantime I guess we all dont mind throwing our hands into our pockets for insurance premiums eh?

Just trying to come up with idea's... Seems its easy to trash talk against this but not so easy to come up with an alternative answer??? "Better driver training / improve roads" doesn't cut it! Its the 1% thats probably unlicenced or in a stolen vehicle thats ruining it for the rest of us...bluezx14 wrote:And we can all live in "camps" and have bar codes tattooed on us
Dont get me wrong, I think we are massively over governed already! But are we going to come up with an alternative solution or we going to let politician's dictate how to stop this sort of behaviour that ruins it for the rest of us?

How about appropriate punishments for theft and other "real" crimes??

I like it... But does the deterent work? They have to get caught in the act! Maybe we need a 3 stikes law like in some parts of the US?

The presumption in the press report is that speed kills - catch the people speeding and the road toll drops.
How about trying something different like better training and improving the roads.
If the governemnt uses front / rear cameras, doesn't this solve their identification issue.
What I am sure about though is that I'm not trading any loss of freedom just because the government cannot think of a better way to fix the issue.

Bring back hard labor in prisons, and harsher living conditions i.e. no TV, no gym, no smoking, piss in a cup every day, supply them with army kit (sleeping bags, boots, fly tents- if it is good enough for our soldiers it is good enough for them) that sort of thing. Prison is not a resort; if you don't like it don't come back. There is nothing you can do about hardened criminals but the regular grubs will soon get the picture. In the long run it will be cheaper and improve society.

not that I disagree but some would say that after climatisation to that style of treatment the minor offenders will come out harder than they went in.

Work is a four letter word to most of those people they won't have the time or the energy to play up whilst there and they won't want to come back for another "holiday" any time soon. Acclimatized to hard work no- TV, drugs, smoking and having a bit of discipline would that be a bad thing?
