Ponti u should try townsville ATM, 3 floods a day in last 2 days, it pelts down, it floods and even shopping centers close, then the water disappears, it rains again and is back again new_2gunsfiring_v1.gif so easy to get caught in a flash flood, throw in 34C heat and 76% humidity

Nah bugger that Roo, sounds like you'd need paddle tyres.

Went over to Poppy's again yesterday, we had to wait for the dirt nee MUD to be solid enough to walk on to get the good stuff turned into paper Mache out from under his house. The laundry etc is a foot lower then the pic with the zzr & cbr150 up above.
We managed to save a fair bit of stuff. Poppy's taken the week off to complete the clean up.

Haven't you heard? He wears high heels and platforms now so that he can peek over the edge of the toolbox without using the step ladder.

A friend has a high set Queenslander at Newtown in Ipswich. Under their house was waist deep in water, which of course turned to mud. The washing machine, beer fridge, furniture that was being restored, and the dog's beds were bobbing around in the water and ended up being washed out to the back yard. Their car, which was parked in the driveway but not under the house, had water halfway filling it up, and was written off a couple of days ago. It was a huge clean up for them!

We have been away off and on last two weeks, and we came home to find that we have a storm damage to the ceiling in the kitchen. The roofer that we had out at the start of the year has to come back out and check the roof, the plasterer will make some money, and so will the painter. Thank goodness for insurance!
