Well, well, well. It's good to see that things seem to have turned around for you Marty. It's hard when you're down to realise that things eventually get better, but this just goes to show you. Life happens in waves, you just have to try and ride the peaks!

Some carnts get all the luck don't they? ;).
See here, young man,
From Walgett to the sea,
From Conroy's Gap to Castlereagh,
There's none can ride like me.

Can ya get razor-wire in micro sizing ??

Yeh I know the HG run is as boring as batshit, and also that you were bound to bite .... You should try doing it from fuckin' Anarchy Road mate !! Its 8 hours of 140+ straight backroads with *ONE* good corner in the middle !! And we all know *exactly* where that corner is, and we all do it at 160+ !!

Its not the ride there, its the party. Thats what keeps me going back. That and the thrill of seeing Billy and Smek nude-up and get a leg over someones bike ..... :x - oh and the GreenGinger virgins getting their cherries busted. Thats always good too !!!!

See you at Saint Arnotts !

Marty, I think you're batting out of your league!

Congrats mate. No matter how much shit you've had thrown at you, you've always been pretty positive from what I've seen. Hope your 2009 brings a tad more luck than last year! :kuda:

Well done Marty.

I'm glad you are happy- you deserve it!

(You seem to have no trouble finding decent partners down there! Maybe I need to move down south- it seems Vic sends it's relationship rejects up here to QLD to try again! )

Thanks all for the well wishes!!! I too am hoping 09 is somewhat of an improvement over 08!!!! Faaark 08 was a doozy!!!!! But, what's happened so far in 09 far outweighs any negatives from 08!!! Amazing isn't it, the human brains capability to remove negative things from the forefront of your mind!!! I guess it's a little like childbirth in one way, wereby the brain blocks out the pain so you can go do it again!!!!

Mick C, I have already had a few occasions where people have second guessed my licence photo recently  In one case, with a rather young officer just before New Year's, I had to lift my shirt to show the war wounds to convince him it was me!!!!!
