CT 20 Wash n wax
5lt garden spray pump pack
warm water
kero
Wd 40
Decent chamoise
'final inspection' / 'showtime' / 'ice' or similar waterless wash product (use instead of wax as has no white residue which is a CAAARNT to get out of decals , nooks n crannies )
Unless you own a BLACK BIKE your SOFT as your bike lasts HOURS before it looks dirty again !!!
>Scratches don't magically appear when you so much as breath on it
>>Cats and other clawed paint damaging creatures don't seem quite as fascinated by a NON BLACK bike either !?
Ol Saki not silly - white gotta be easier!?

Auto Glym Vinyl and Rubber for the black plastic stuff (chain guard, indicators, mirrors); kero on the chain and sprockets followed by Chain Wax (do it while it's warm); Mr Sheen on the rest (including the Yoshi). Takes 1 stubbie of Coopers Sparkling Ale on a Friday night, and yes, you pick up loose stuff before it falls off. One of the nice things about commuting on a bike 5 days a week is the second Coopers while you sit back and admire the handiwork. The other nice thing is those special corners that you wait for on the way home, the 0-100 time at the lights, lane splitting, enjoying the commute, PODDing (Pissing Off Dickhead Drivers)... the list is endless. Riding in the rain was fun last week (you remember rain, it's that wet stuff that falls from the sky, although last week's was more like mud...). Sorry. Got sidetracked into an exposition of the joys of riding.

Keep it clean; at the least, you'll get more when you make an insurance claim.

I use maguires gel wash, autosol metal polish, and carnuba wax.
Spray brake cleaner on a rag removes chain crap off panels and cleans rims nicely.
