I use the Joseph Lyddy leather products and they work a treat in keeping the leather soft....... porbably only use it once every couple of years and that's enough. The Gleam & the Leatha Phane are the 2 I use. :supz:

Old post, but leather also shrinks when it gets wet and then drys. Soak a leather strip in water then tie it tightly around your neck and you will see. Make sure you are really drunk when you do this and when you pass out you will not wake up. Ah Jim Beam and a brew, I think I've gone to heaven.

I'm pretty sure a disclaimer of 'don't try this at home kiddies - leave it to the big people and politicians' is needed.....
