funny you should ask that ......I had another ride today, everything seems to be working OK.......but no mirrors is a pain, especially with my shoulder/ribs still not being 100%...

So I had a bit of a look for a mounting position for a normal old-school Z1000 'stalk' mirror......and would you believe it, the bolt which holds the small bracket for the remote m/c......is an 8mm metric medium pitch ! Which is the same as.....the mirror stalk !!!

So I just fitted the mirror into position, which also did the job of holding the m/c bracket nice and tight.......and I have a mirror ! Gotta love Kawasaki parts interchangeability. That brake-line splitter on the front brakes is from a 1981 Z750 - and it bolted straight up to a 2005 lower triple clamp, in *exactly* the same mounts as the stock 12 splitter used. Unreal !

Bogan - will have the 12 at coffee tomorrow mate

don't worry mate, I had a bit of a lump in my throat when stripping my beloved barge in the backyard the day I got home.....it was very sad....

But, for a while at least, until the new bodywork is completed - the Wastelands Edition will rule.........the wastelands !
