Have seen it 20+ times but watched for nuances last night and noted on the side of the side car carrying "Go Down" the sticker Eldorado - who were they and what did they do? I know of a particularly nice KH mounted in a Bakker frame carrying the Eldorado name. Are they one and the same?
Just curious about the heritage of it all if there is a link. Calling Gos-asauraus.

Eldorado was a brand of helmet around that time, S & W.

Ado - I will have to watch the DVD again, but I am pretty sure that the outfit carrying GoDown, was the famous Chesterfield 'Wedge', won a heap of sidecar races in the late 60's and early 70's. This outfit has a lot of history.
Ron is on the money about Eldorado - they were a helmet brand on the Aussie market back in the day. One of the biggest at the time - one of my mates used to have an Eldorado lid, I am sure there is a photo of it in the archives somewhere....will dig it out.
I can't remember who the importer was, could have been Ron Angel Holdings ? They used to do some freaky 'space-age' ads ......stand by for a scan or 3 !!

especialy Easyrider. It has not aged well. But I reckon the original MAD MAX is still "well hard" The stunts without CGI still spin my wheels...same with Stone...
Just my 2 cents worth

Correct and all ACU license holders which was most of the stunt riders particularly in the race scene were threatened with losing their race accreditation for taking part in the "bikie film"
I still have my Eldorado open face

Love that movie. It didn`t age well but who cares. Back then I rode british now I have seen the light (from the land of the rising sun) and ride green, But I still dont believe a stock Z1 could beat a Norton round the twisties.

It's easy the Norton would run out of oil and fall off the road before it went a couple of kliks
