Tyre replaced.
They checked it out ready for repair but alas the screw went in on an angle that tore into the side wall. Game over. As long as the sidewall was untouched they would have just fixed it, but I wasn't that lucky.
And to think I was going to use that extra little bit of cash on night classes to get my spelling and grammer up to Seiko's high standard. Guess you'll just have to put up with me as i am!!

Mate,I picked this up a while back..New tyre, only done a few hundred klms..Straight into it and exit through the sidewall..Yanked it out and it stayed up and has done so for ages.

..Just lucky I guess.
