I was with Arista for the 9 but they wouldn't insure the 10 for everyday use, so now I'm back with QBE

im with plasma....bills hooked me up with Famous Classic cars...agreed value, $500 a year on $10k, rating 1, only 25......no1 else would touch me (under 30 on a bike bigger than 600cc)...the only draw back is ive got a $2k excess...problem is my last 2 crashes have cost me abt $8k in total & bike still not totally fixed....id rather walk away with $8k for a new bike, than a $8k repair bill again!!

you want $8 large to crash again, so you can practice being a CTD...

thats the only way you'll walk away with $8large neka

nah mate..i just figure IF i DO crash again, the $10k i get back, minus the $2k excess is better value than just fixing the bloody thing outta my own pocket...once i get the respray & new plastics, i can upgrade the thing to $13k agreed value (tho i need to spend $2k on fairings & paint to get $13k value)...at least its rideable at the mo (track only of course)

I dunno

It may be because the sheep and cows haven't got opposable thumbs, therefore can't operate boltcutters...
...but I'm guessing the reason is the country post code + locked shed + rating 1 + 40yo + ratio of dickheads per square kilometre is a
LOT less than Melbourne.

I'm not complaining mind you, and I'm not going to ask them to bump it up. Last year it was $400.

Just got my renewal from QBE @ 1250.00 for agreed value etc etc
1 phone call later to Arista ... 530.00 for exactly the same deal and a 250.00 excess to boot , QBE's excess was 900.00 !
seems being over 40 is finally paying off ? they recon i should be more sedate out on the roads now !

the girl i spoke to even knew the differance between a firestorm and an SP1 !!
