Pretty sure leds are brighter than normal lights and they flash little quicker than normal flashers but hey there could be a reason electronically that could slow them down but i am not sure

The resistors need to be fitted in parallel with the new LED lights, not in series. LED lights draw much less current than incandescents. Putting a high wattage resistor in series allows extra current to bleed through the resistor. Wastes current but allows the flashers to work the way they're designed to. The flasher units are current dependent. You know when you've blown an indicator bulb because your lights will flash faster due to the lower current.
