cheers everyone, I am pretty happy with the new addition to the stable, it has now been delivered to its new home in the 4th, and this Easter weekend will be the scene of much detailing and cleaning......and roadworthy-ing. Historic rego will then allow me to road-test all the tuning mods whenever necessary !

aah OK no worries - I have some old z650 discs that are solid - will get one of these turned down to suit...yeh DP sent me the link, thanks for that mate - but I had spotted this one the day it was listed.

nah mate, just the seat/ducktail unit as you see in the photos. I did have a limit of 2k though, if someone had gone over that then it would be theirs now......

There are *shitloads* of S1 and S2 stuff available though on US ebay, so I will be trawling there over the next few days to pick up some stuff - complete engine gasket kits for <$50, barrels, pistons etc - you name it.

just remember these were a noisy two banger reverb between the cylinder fins caused this
rubber bungs between the air-cooling was yamaha's solution and worked well

ha ha. its not that touchy anymore, i am hoping it will be ready i am just waiting for the piston i have everything else, worst case i will race the mtr as a 250 and chase you around looking forward to wakefield

Yeah, should be a good one. I'm keen to see how much quicker my LC is around there now it's gained a bit of speed....I still reckon you'll be dissappearing on me though.

I hope the supp regs come out soon, they're leaving it a bit late
