Brian, It's like saying all NZers shag sheep, and all Poms never bathe etc. It's a funny stereotype that should be taken lightheartedly so they should HTFU and cop it on the chin like everyone else. Fuck me, they can sook about being mistreated; yet they come accross as the most intolerant group of people on the planet saying their way is right, everyone else is wrong and the rest of society should be changing it's lifestyle to suit their different needs. If you want to 'fit in' to the Australian lifestyle you need to be able to laugh at yourself and not take things too seriously. Nearly every person in this country has moved here or has descended from people that moved here and they have all addopted to this culture of taking the piss. If these people you talk of are that easily offended, I suggest they might want to move to Germany. (I actually know a few Germans and they are all funny barstards who take the piss as much as us, but the stereotype is that they have no sense of humour so I'm using it.
