Phil runs M5s on his first gen Z1000 with no complaints.KEL10R wrote: Had the M5 on my Speed Triple (probably considered a heavier bike than a sportbike)and was happy with them, how do you think they would differ on a lighter sport bike ?
Yep, taking them to Wakefield on Friday, with 5K on them and they still look good.Nelso wrote:Phil runs M5s on his first gen Z1000 with no complaints.KEL10R wrote: Had the M5 on my Speed Triple (probably considered a heavier bike than a sportbike)and was happy with them, how do you think they would differ on a lighter sport bike ?

Is that the Metzler Racetec K2? On their website they have K3 for the road and K0,K1 and K2 for the track?? Would the K3 be better on the road than both?

Yeah K2 treaded, now that i think of it they are probably not DOT.
I have no idea with M5's on a lighter sportsbike as I have only run the K2 on my 10R and rarely rode it in the wet or on long rides (purely a blat bike for the up in the hills at the time), have the 12R for these duties.
Anyway I would go with what Phil says on this
