Marty,
the end on my Micron on my 03 zx6r went gold in about 2 hours, then it leaked at the front seal and had to go back for repair......having said that once it was back on I never had another problem. In fact I bought a Micron for my 05.

yeah, mine was leaking a tad as well... but i fixed that with a virgin copper gasket... oh, and tightened it down a bit more after riding!!

I have a ti pipe and it is going a very lovely technicolour blue at all of the "contact" points... if I had the bike at the moment I would take some photos... so watch this space...

Yeah Mine actually blew past the rubber seal where the the to end peices meet the skin (kinda hard to explain) it had to go back to Syd and be re sealed (re vulcanised I think they said), but no other issues and an awesome note.

mate my staintune gets a glowing sumtimes, but the real fun is the titanium headers, them farkers glow a nice bright red after a good nite ride carving & reving hard..ohhh yeah...looks awesome!!
