Ok, before I get the whole, OMG, watch out thing, I did. I could see for MILES up the road. clear both sides, only pastures, no wildlife. I'll take a pic next time I'm out there. Road has just been resurfaced as well. I've ridden a few times, so I know the road pretty well.

That's the first time I've gotten on it since I've owned the bike. Just interested to see what it had in it. Got pretty disappointed when it felt like it had nothing left at 260... everywhere else I've read they hit 300 (indicated).

Anyways, might just give the bike a service, and see how it pans out :)

Yeah its not always about top speed though - its how quick it gets there

Your six would get swallowed hole by a 10 - it'd take you a while to catch upto it once it hit his top speed! :)

Dunno - maybe madkaw or someone might have some more insight into it

just in little bite sized pieces!! Seriously though, my 6 pulls quite HARD (well, for a 6 anyway) right past 260...... well, okay, maybe not "HARD" either, but it goes!

Yep, friend of mine reckons the J1's go all the way up to 270 (on the clock) before running out of puff. 8)
