Mick i have an easy solution.....
ignore it and it will go away. Mine is also very cluncky from first to second. I have ignored it and its kinda gone away.
it hasnt worked for us with mina yet....

Sorry about the ressurection, but mine has a clunk to it.. People are talking about idle speed, can that be clarified please? Thats ya idle rpm's? orrr ?

u need to pull the clutch in ALLL the way for first to second gear and half for second to third and just a lil for the rest , might help

Get the revs up higher before you change and experiment with them, the revs. There is usually an optimal rev range where you can change gear without even the clutch.
