When I was in getting a new front at Pablos they sent the rim off to be rolled. Cost about $70 as well, I think (the price was included with the tyre)

See that black mark on the tread adjacent to the bent rim, that’s obvious damage from the hit and has pinched down and bent the rim.
You don’t know what’s happened to the structure beneath the surface of the rubber so SCRAP it bulging or not, for 120 bucks for a new front tyre its cheap to replace, and cut up the old tyre so no one else finds it and uses it.

Just don't want to hear something bad happening from it that’s all 8)

Good recovery mate, that could have been nasty, well done :wink:

On another topic, when you get that wheel trued, it'll give you a good reason to clean ya farkin wheels!! :lol:

Thanks mate, this time of year you clean the farker and the next time it rains (if it isn't already) it looks like that again. :oops:

Doesn't really help I do a lot of commuting and get covered in road grime, nor that I have a very long dirt/gravel driveway. :wink:

...the rest of the bike is pretty grotty as well. :roll:
