im just glad to have a bike that doesnt need to be street fightered now :wink: tho its looking rough...

but after the track day at PI in december im gonna get her painted up in kawasaki orange (like on Z1000's and ZX10R's)


going to vicroads in a sec to rego her :twisted:

pfft... its not a case of NEED, mine coulda been made neat and tidy for much less than it costs to fighter, i had everything there, i just didn't want it :lol:

well my old (and miras) gsxr750 only needed to be street fightered due to the torture rack seating position with the bars so far forward and low down... and the 7R is no better :P


but the 9R..... mate!


just got back from rego'ing it, its sooooo nice! feels so nice and smooth and new! feels really light too... steering is very neutral... just came home to bolt the rego plate on and now im off again for a ride :wink:

the 7R is WORSE :lol: it makes bennys 954 feel comfy :shock:

after a blast through reefton and black spurs yesterday i can say it is definately a sports bike 8) just a comfy one


with spastic midrange :shock: pulls like a train from about 4k


and these wave discs!!!!! coupled with braided lines, the brakes are seriously strong... i was going into the corners soooo hard cause the brakes were laughing at me :oops:

well, after thinking my CDI had packed it in when i got some WEIRD readings, i did a bit of searching. found out that the ZX7R has a bit of an anti-theft thing in the ignition, it needs a 100ohm resistor on the grey wire or you get zero spark. stuck a resistor on the line and wallah, one running bike :D

and it just feels so much better at lower speeds now! fark i missed having MX bars on my bikes, its staying this way now, only way to ride 8)
