Yeah HemiDuty I did have a big block Xb falcon which I have since sold to my brother. I still have a soft spot for them, well anything that goes hard. I've done a bit of drag racing and circuit racing stuff with the cars before. Can't wait to get to a ride day, hopefully can get a group together.

Welcome to KSRC mate!

mayyyyte...... i had an XB 351 coupe, damn it was a disaster waiting to happen, but i wish i still had it.

I came back to bikes after a spell with the V8's of the blue oval cos nothing tops the relentless rush of a fine sports bike on the track!!

I had an XC GXL. When I took the aluminium trim off the sill panels and saw how far the rust had spread underneath, I realised the disaster had already happened...

I had a fling with a nicely worked 351 XY falcon. All the fun stuff, 4.11 geared 9", kitted C4 with converter, big hydraulic cammed 4 barrel motor yadda yadda yadda. Was good fun, but I only ever had it as something between Mopars.

I've always liked the XY, the problem i had with V8's was the cost to take one from dud to rocket, and then finding the $100 for fuel to drive it around.

I had a tidy 82 Jag XJ with a cleavo and C4 combo in it, but the engine, torque converter and box were stock and since it was a 2 ton car i got dragged off by soccer mums in 4wds...
